The Comprehensive CHE-HDWP85UD is a professional 2x1 HDMI and USB-C wall plate extender kit designed to transmit high-quality video from local sources to a remote display over standard CAT5e or CAT6 cabling. Supporting resolutions up to 4K/UHD at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, this extender delivers clear images, detailed textures, and reliable performance for classrooms, conference rooms, courtrooms, offices, and home workspaces.

The wall plate transmitter features HDMI and USB-C inputs, automatic or manual source selection, and a US one-gang enclosure compatible with Decora-style wall plate openings. Its CAT output supports transmission distances up to 164 feet for 4K at 24Hz or up to 115 feet for 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma through a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable. Power over Cable allows the receiver to remotely power the transmitter, helping simplify installation. A USB-C charging port is also included for added convenience.

Designed for modern AV environments, the CHE-HDWP85UD is compliant with HDMI 2.0b, HDCP 2.2, and DisplayPort 1.2a standards. Compatible audio formats include LPCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD Master Audio, DSD, and additional multichannel formats. CEC control is not supported.
