Multiple USB interfaces facilitate wireless conferencing and touch interactivity, allowing users to connect laptops, smartphones, tablets, or AirMedia Connect adapters for instant content sharing.

The AirMedia technology incorporated in this device supports wireless presentation from a variety of sources, including laptops running Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. Users can connect via built-in Wi-Fi or external wireless networks, utilizing downloadable client software, Chrome extension, or Miracast for Windows 10 computers. This flexibility simplifies content sharing and encourages collaborative meetings. The device’s AirMedia Canvas feature allows two sources to be displayed simultaneously, fostering multi-user collaboration. An optional software license will enable support for additional sources, further expanding its capabilities. The system automatically optimizes layouts based on the number and type of active sources, enhancing the user experience.

When idle, the receiver displays a customizable welcome screen with connection instructions and integrates with popular scheduling platforms like Microsoft Exchange, Google Calendar, and Crestron Fusion. These integrations allow the display to show room availability, upcoming meeting details, and notifications for ongoing or upcoming events, improving space utilization and scheduling efficiency. Additionally, the system supports enterprise-grade security and content encryption to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with IT policies. Crestron’s XiO Cloud service enables remote provisioning and management, simplifying deployment and maintenance across multiple locations. The AM-3100-WF also supports integration with digital signage platforms like Appspace and can connect to optional whiteboard sharing hardware such as Kaptivo, enhancing collaborative capabilities.
