The Eaton 5P Gen2 5P3000RTNG2 line-interactive UPS delivers dependable battery backup and power protection for servers, network switches, storage systems and other sensitive equipment in edge computing environments, server rooms and network closets. With 3,000VA and 3,000W capacity, unity power factor provides more usable wattage for modern IT loads, while pure sine wave output supports stable operation for sensitive electronics. The rack/tower form factor supports flexible deployment in standard server racks or tower installations.

Extended Battery Life and Advanced Power Management

Eaton ABM technology optimizes the charging process to help extend battery life by up to 50 percent while continuously monitoring battery health. The UPS provides advance notification when battery replacement is needed, helping simplify maintenance planning. Automatic voltage regulation corrects brownouts and overvoltages without switching to battery, keeping the batteries charged and ready for power failures. The graphical LCD and multicolor status bar provide quick visibility into UPS status, load conditions, events, measurements and settings.

Secure Remote Access and Flexible Connectivity

The pre-installed Eaton NETWORK-M3 Gigabit network management card enables remote configuration, monitoring, load shedding, connected-device reboots and controlled shutdowns. Remote firmware updates can be performed without interrupting the load. The card is designed to meet UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards. One L5-30R and six 5-15/20R outlets provide pure sine wave AC output, while load banks support selective shutdown of noncritical equipment to extend runtime for essential loads. USB and RS-232 communication ports, along with an RPO/ROO connector, support automated saves, emergency shutdowns and remote restart functions.

The Eaton 5P3000RTNG2 installs in a 2U rack space with the included four-post rail kit or operates vertically with the included tower stands. The package includes the NETWORK-M3 card, USB and RS-232 cables, rack-mounting hardware, tower support stands and user documentation. This Energy Star qualified, RoHS-compliant UPS is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
