The Eaton Corporation Tripp Lite SmartPro SMART3000RM2U is a versatile 3kVA/3kW line-interactive UPS designed for high-performance IT, telecom, and enterprise environments. This 2U rack-mount system offers reliable power protection against blackouts, brownouts, surges, and line noise, safeguarding sensitive networking equipment, servers, VoIP phones, data storage devices, and PoE switches. Its pure sine wave output ensures compatibility with a wide range of hardware, and the unity power factor maximizes the wattage delivered at each power rating, enabling you to connect more devices without overloading the UPS.
The UPS features a user-friendly front-panel LCD that displays detailed information about power conditions through 10 selectable screens. The system's hot-swappable, field-replaceable VRLA batteries allow continuous operation during short outages and provide ample time for safe shutdowns during extended power failures. Rapid switchover from line to battery power occurs within milliseconds, preventing system interruptions and data loss. The SMART3000RM2U also includes multiple NEMA outlets—one L5-30R and six 5-20R—offering filtered, surge-protected, pure sine wave power to connected components. Four of the 5-20R outlets are split into load banks that can be independently switched on or off, enabling critical loads to be prioritized and non-essential equipment to be shed to extend runtime.
For remote management, the optional WEBCARDLXE network interface card provides comprehensive control, including load shedding, device reboots, and safe shutdowns. Its IP-based Auto Probe feature ensures continuous network uptime by communicating with other network devices, detecting connectivity issues, and initiating automatic reboots when necessary. Additional environmental sensors (sold separately) can be added with EnviroSense2 modules for monitoring temperature, humidity, or other critical parameters, enhancing overall system resilience.
