Equipped with advanced outlet-level metering, monitoring, and switching capabilities, the Eaton G3 PDU enables granular control over power distribution. Each of the six color-coded load banks features a 20A circuit breaker, allowing for precise management and quick response to overload conditions. LEDs provide immediate visual feedback on outlet status, facilitating efficient troubleshooting and maintenance. The toolless mounting design allows for easy installation in 0U vertical orientation, compatible with 42U or higher racks, and the narrow profile allows stacking multiple units if needed. Daisy-chaining up to eight PDUs via the integrated network management module optimizes remote control and reduces cabling complexity.

Remote management features include integration with Eaton’s Intelligent Power Manager (IPM), Visual Power Manager (VPM), and VCOM software, accessed through web browsers or SNMP. The hot-swappable eNMC module provides remote access through Ethernet or serial connections, equipped with an LCD for real-time outlet readings and environmental monitoring ports. This setup minimizes on-site visits, accelerates response times, and ensures continuous uptime.
