The Eaton G4 EVMAL630X Managed Rack PDU provides versatile, intelligent power distribution for enterprise data centers, colocation facilities and distributed IT environments. Designed for vertical, tool-free installation in a 42U rack, this single-phase PDU supports demanding rack power requirements while helping data center teams simplify procurement, deployment and ongoing management. Its black aluminum chassis and space-saving vertical form factor preserve valuable rack space for revenue-generating equipment.

Advanced Cybersecurity and Remote Management

The Eaton EVMAL630X includes an embedded, hot-swappable gigabit network module with chain-of-trust encryption, secure firmware boot and zero-trust architecture to help protect connected infrastructure. Zero-touch provisioning and compatibility with select Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers suite solutions support automation, remote monitoring and faster response to power events. The multi-color display provides clear local status information, while network management enables reports, dashboards, trend charts, severity-based alerts and remote troubleshooting. Optional environmental sensors can monitor temperature, humidity and dry-contact connections.

Flexible Outlet-Level Control

With 42 managed outlets, the EVMAL630X accommodates a broad range of IT equipment. It includes 24 C13 outlets for C14 connectors and 18 high-retention universal C39 combo outlets that accept both C14 and C20 plugs. Every outlet provides metering, monitoring and switching for detailed power visibility and precise control. Six color-coded load banks, each arranged in two sections with dedicated circuit-breaker protection, help organize cabling and support balanced rack loads. The included 10-foot power cord uses an L6-30 input for connection to a compatible AC source.

Efficient Installation and Expansion

Toolless mounting buttons support front- or side-facing vertical installation, depending on rack layout and power requirements. Low-profile circuit breakers sit flush with the chassis, and multiple EVMAL630X units can be cascaded—up to 40 models—with each retaining its own IP address through a single network connection point. The Eaton G4 EVMAL630X is RoHS compliant and includes mounting buttons plus a three-year limited warranty.
