The Eaton Tripp Lite B110-SP-POEC-10 is a DIN-rail-mountable in-line PoE surge protector designed to help protect high-power Ethernet devices from electrostatic discharge, power surges and cable discharge events. It supports data transmission speeds up to 10 Gbps and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 power delivery over Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling, making it suitable for high-bandwidth networks, industrial AV, smart building infrastructure and automation environments.

Install the B110-SP-POEC-10 between an Ethernet source and a compatible PoE device, then connect the included grounding wire. The protector supports IEEE 802.3af up to 15 watts, IEEE 802.3at up to 30 watts and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 up to 100 watts. This enables power delivery to compatible devices such as outdoor IP cameras, wireless access points and digital signage equipment without requiring an individual power supply for each device.

Solid-state silicon-avalanche diode technology provides low clamping voltage and a response time under 1 nanosecond. Gas discharge modules on all four twisted pairs help protect each wire from surges and voltage spikes. The unit meets IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-5 and IEC 61000-4-4 requirements as stated by the manufacturer, and its zinc housing is designed for applications where static discharge may occur.

Plug-and-play operation requires no software, drivers or external power supply. The black surge protector can be DIN-rail mounted in tight enclosures or structured cabling environments and also includes surface-mounting hardware. The package includes the surge protector, a 1-foot grounding wire, grounding wire screw, DIN-rail clip, surface-mounting brackets, mounting screws, screw anchors and installation instructions. The B110-SP-POEC-10 is TAA compliant and backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
