This high-performance unit transmits a DVI-D Single-Link signal to up to four remote monitors over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable, reaching distances of up to 200 feet for 1024 x 768 resolution or 150 feet for 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. The device includes an additional local DVI port, enabling direct connection to a local monitor and supporting daisy-chaining of additional units to expand the display array to a total of 13 monitors, including the local display. The unit’s mounting hardware allows flexible installation options, including rack, wall, or pole mounting, with the ability to install up to three units in just 1U of rack space using a compatible rackmount bracket. The B140-004 is compatible across all operating systems and offers a plug-and-play setup, requiring no drivers or software for operation, simplifying deployment in diverse environments. Connecting the transmitter involves attaching it to a DVI source with a Tripp Lite P561-Series cable, and remote monitors are connected via matching receiver units using the same DVI cables, with the remote units connected to the transmitter through standard RJ45 Ethernet cables. For extended distances beyond the standard limits, optional active receivers like the B140-1A0 or B140-1A0-WP can extend signals up to 150 feet at 1080p or 200 feet at lower resolutions, while passive receivers like the B140-1P0 or B140-1P0-WP are suitable for shorter runs. Additional expansion is possible with the B140-110 repeater units, allowing up to four remote monitors per channel, with extended reach capabilities.
