The Eaton Tripp Lite B156-002-H8K 2-Port DisplayPort to HDMI Multi-Monitor Splitter connects two HDMI monitors, projectors, or televisions to a DisplayPort output on a compatible laptop or desktop computer. DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST) support enables simultaneous use of both displays for mirrored content, an extended desktop, or a combined video wall. This versatile signal splitter is well suited for digital signage, classrooms, houses of worship, trade shows, hotels, conference rooms, restaurants, retail environments, and presentations.

Supports 8K Video and Advanced Display Configurations

The B156-002-H8K supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz per monitor in extended and mirror modes, with 16-bit Deep Color and 2-channel LPCM audio. In video wall mode, it supports expanded resolutions up to 7680 x 2160 at 60 Hz in a 2x1 vertical configuration or 3840 x 4320 at 60 Hz in a 1x2 horizontal configuration. HDMI 2.0 compliance, backward compatibility with earlier HDMI versions, 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, and HDCP 2.3 support provide sharp, uncompressed video for professional applications, PC use, gaming, and 4K content playback. For video wall operation, using monitors of the same brand and model is recommended.

Plug-and-Play Installation for Professional Use

Connect the DisplayPort source and HDMI displays using user-supplied HDMI cables up to 15 feet long, then attach the included external power supply. No software or drivers are required. LED indicators show which connected displays are receiving an audio/video signal. The rugged black enclosure includes detachable mounting brackets for installation on a level surface, while the included international plug adapters support North American, European, U.K., and Australian outlets.
