The Eaton Tripp Lite N785-P01-SFP Gigabit SFP Fiber to Ethernet Media Converter extends a copper Gigabit Ethernet connection over fiber optic cable while delivering Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+). It supports 48 VDC power and data transmission up to 1,000 Mbps, making it suitable for connecting edge PoE+ devices across fiber-based network links. The converter is designed for professional network deployments that require reliable media conversion and flexible installation options.

The customizable SFP port supports both 1G single-mode and multimode transceivers, while the RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000Base-T connectivity and auto-MDI/MDIX for straightforward connection to a variety of network devices. Full-duplex and half-duplex operation provide compatibility with different networking environments. Twisted-pair cable support helps promote durable connections and consistent signal transfer, and the single-port design allows copper and fiber media to be connected within the same network.

The N785-P01-SFP works with Tripp Lite N785-Series non-PoE media converters, sold separately, to help extend network infrastructure across mixed-media installations. The included external power supply features a 3.6-foot cord and NEMA 5-15P plug, with universal 100-240V input and 48V output. This environmentally friendly converter complies with RoHS requirements and includes an owner’s manual. Eaton Tripp Lite backs the unit with a 2-year limited warranty.
