The Eaton Tripp Lite P131-000-A HDMI to VGA Adapter with Audio converts a digital HDMI signal from a laptop, Chromebook, MacBook, desktop PC or other source into video for a VGA-equipped television, monitor or projector. It supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, including 1080p HD, at 60 Hz, making it suitable for presentations, classroom instruction, multitasking on a larger display and digital signage applications. The compact black adapter features an HDMI male connector and a VGA female port for connection to a VGA cable, sold separately.
Stereo audio can be shared through the integrated 3.5 mm audio jack. Connect an optional 3.5 mm audio cable to a compatible display, A/V receiver or speaker system to route sound from the HDMI source. The adapter provides a practical way to add audio when using VGA equipment that does not receive sound through the video connection.
The P131-000-A offers convenient plug-and-play operation without software, drivers or an external power supply in typical installations. If additional power is required, use the USB Micro-B port with a USB charger or an available USB-A port on the source device. Its palm-sized, molded one-piece design is easy to carry in a laptop bag or backpack for quick setup in offices, classrooms and meeting spaces. The adapter complies with HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 standards, is TAA compliant and meets RoHS requirements.
