The Eaton Tripp Lite PDUMH15HVATNET is a 1U rack-mountable power distribution unit designed for data centers, server rooms, and network closets requiring reliable power redundancy. Equipped with dual 12-foot (3.6-meter) input cords featuring IEC-320 C14 plugs, this PDU connects to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources such as mains circuits, backup generators, or UPS systems. Its primary function is to ensure continuous power delivery by switching seamlessly between sources within 2 to 5 milliseconds, safeguarding critical network equipment from power failures and fluctuations. The built-in processor constantly monitors the quality of both inputs, preventing unnecessary switching when secondary sources are unavailable or inferior, thus maintaining stable operation.

The PDUMH15HVATNET features eight switched C13 outlets that support remote control for on/off commands, rebooting, or load shedding, which helps reduce site visits and downtime. Additionally, two unswitched outlets provide non-controllable power connections. Front-panel digital load meters display total current draw in amps, while LED indicators show the operational status of each outlet and input source, allowing for quick onsite diagnostics. An input-voltage select switch offers flexibility to toggle between high (220-240V) and low (200-208V) voltage environments, making the device adaptable to various regional power standards.

Remote access and monitoring capabilities are enabled through the integrated LX Platform web interface, which supports secure HTTPS, SNMP, telnet, and SSH protocols. This platform facilitates 24/7 remote management, status monitoring, and email alerts. Optional environmental monitoring modules (sold separately) extend the unit’s functionality, providing insights into temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors. The Auto Probe feature enhances reliability by automatically checking device connectivity and executing user-defined actions such as outlet reboots or SNMP traps if a device becomes unresponsive. Installation is straightforward with included mounting brackets suitable for horizontal placement within a standard 19-inch rack. The PDUMH15HVATNET is TAA-compliant, making it eligible for GSA Schedule purchases, and is backed by a two-year warranty, ensuring long-term operational peace of mind.
