The device offers multiple switching methods such as front-panel pushbuttons, hotkeys, RS-232 commands, and an intuitive On-Screen Display (OSD), allowing quick and convenient toggling between connected sources. The auto-scan feature facilitates automated cycling through all connected devices at five-second intervals, and indicator LEDs identify the active source clearly.
Setup is straightforward with included cables for DisplayPort and USB connections, and the switch requires no additional software, making it compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Sun systems. The integrated dual-port USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub supports sharing peripherals like printers, external drives, webcams, and scanners among all connected computers. Each port operates independently, enabling simultaneous use of multiple peripherals across different systems. The switch also supports high-definition video output with true 4K resolution at 60 Hz and 2.1-channel surround sound, with independent audio switching that allows listening to audio from one device while working on another.
