4K HDMI Matrix Switching for Multi-Display Applications

The Eaton Tripp Lite Series B119-4X2-4KL 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch/Splitter connects up to four HDMI video sources to two displays, making it well suited for classrooms, retail signage, hotel lobbies, restaurants, event venues, houses of worship, home theaters and other multi-display installations. Connect laptops, media servers, cable or satellite receivers, gaming consoles and other HDMI devices, then route the same source to both displays or send different sources to each display.

Flexible Control and High-Quality 4K Video

Convenient front-panel push buttons provide quick source selection, while the included IR remote control allows users to switch video and audio from a distance. The B119-4X2-4KL supports Ultra HD resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for detailed video, PC monitoring and gaming. High Dynamic Range enhances contrast and color reproduction, while HDCP 2.2 support enables compatible 4K content transmission without reducing image quality.

Integrated Scaling for Mixed-Resolution Displays

Built-in scaling technology allows modern 4K displays and older 1080p monitors to operate together. Each connected display can receive video at its maximum supported resolution, helping organizations extend the useful life of existing equipment instead of replacing every monitor at once. EDID DIP switch controls simplify configuration and help optimize signal compatibility during installation.

Versatile Audio Extraction and Easy Installation

Audio can be routed through the 3.5 mm stereo or TOSLINK optical outputs and switched independently for Output A and Output B. The switch supports LPCM and compressed formats including DTS, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD, making it suitable for external sound systems and integrated AV environments. Connect source and display devices with HDMI cables, then power the unit through the included USB-A to USB-C cable. The surface-mountable design supports organized placement in a variety of professional and residential applications. A three-year limited warranty is included.
