The Eaton Tripp Lite Series B119-4X4-MV HDMI matrix switch routes any of four HDMI sources to any of four displays, allowing each output to show an independent source or mirror content across multiple screens. It also supports quad-view monitoring, making it a practical solution for control rooms, classrooms, corporate AV systems, security operations, utilities, transportation facilities and digital signage. The B119-4X4-MV has been tested with a broad range of source and display devices, including Apple TV 4K, PlayStation 5, Roku, Xbox Series X, 8K computers and 4K or 1080p televisions and monitors.

Quad-View, Dual, Full-Screen and Picture-in-Picture Modes

Monitor up to four HDMI sources on one display with quad-view mode, compare two sources in dual mode, focus on a single source in full-screen mode or place a secondary feed in one of four picture-in-picture corners. Output A provides seamless switching without a black screen or noticeable delay. Built-in scaling supports flexible output resolutions, including 1080p, 1600p and 4K at 30 Hz, helping connect modern sources with legacy displays. Default EDID improves general compatibility, while advanced EDID functions such as HDR, 3D and automatic resolution detection are not supported.

Reliable Video, Audio Extraction and Convenient Control

The B119-4X4-MV supports Ultra HD 4K video up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, with YCbCr 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 color formats and up to 12-bit color depth. HDCP 1.4 support enables transmission of compatible 4K content without resolution loss, although the switch is not compatible with HDCP 2.2-only devices. Stereo and TOSLINK audio outputs allow sound to be routed to powered speakers, soundbars or AV receivers, with support for LPCM, Dolby Digital and DTS formats. Front-panel buttons, an IR remote and RS-232 serial commands provide convenient control, while the on-screen display reports resolution, audio status and active channels.

Plug-and-Play Installation for Professional AV Environments

The Eaton Tripp Lite Series B119-4X4-MV requires no software or drivers. Connect compatible HDMI source devices and displays using user-supplied HDMI cables, then power the unit with the included external supply. Power-off memory preserves the last configuration for unattended installations and digital signage. Its durable metal housing supports surface or wall mounting with the included hardware, while international plug adapters support use in multiple regions. The package includes a USB-A to Micro-USB cable, remote control, power supply, mounting hardware, rubber feet and user documentation.
