The Eaton Tripp Lite Series SMART700HGL SmartPro medical-grade UPS provides dependable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery backup for healthcare equipment, workstations and other critical electronics. With a 700VA/450W capacity, it helps maintain operation during short power interruptions and supports an orderly system shutdown during extended outages. The SMART700HGL is compliant with UL 60601-1 requirements when connected to a hospital-grade outlet, making it suitable for use in patient-care vicinities.

Line-interactive voltage regulation corrects brownouts as low as 81V and overvoltages as high as 143V, providing stable 120V nominal output without using battery power. A built-in isolation transformer with Faraday shield provides full isolation, reduces common-mode noise and helps limit cumulative leakage current to less than 100 µA. EMI/RFI filtering, electrostatic discharge resistance and AC surge protection help safeguard connected equipment in demanding clinical environments.

Four hospital-grade NEMA 5-15R-HG outlets provide battery backup and surge protection, while the hospital-grade NEMA 5-15P-HG plug and 6-foot power cord support flexible placement. The internal LiFePO4 battery delivers up to 42 minutes of runtime at half load and 18 minutes at full load, with a rated life of up to 10,000 cycles. Diagnostic LEDs and audible alarms indicate utility power, voltage regulation, battery operation, load level, overload and low-battery conditions. A quiet mode helps reduce unnecessary alarm fatigue.

For unattended operation, the SMART700HGL connects to a computer through USB or DB9 serial ports and works with downloadable Tripp Lite PowerAlert® software for automatic file saving and safe system shutdown during prolonged power failures. The package includes a 6-foot USB monitoring cable, 6-foot DB9 serial monitoring cable and owner’s manual. The UPS and batteries are covered by a 5-year limited warranty.
