The Eaton Tripp Lite Series SmartRack SR12UBSP1 is a 12U mid-depth rack enclosure designed for organized, secure installation of servers, networking hardware, power equipment, and other standard 19-inch rack components. Its compact enclosure format provides a practical solution for data centers, offices, classrooms, security installations, and edge computing environments where equipment protection and efficient cable management are important. The cabinet supports up to 1,000 pounds of rack equipment for stationary or rolling applications.

Front and rear pairs of vertical mounting rails feature square mounting holes and adjust in quarter-inch increments to support equipment depths from 3 to 32.5 inches. This flexible rail configuration accommodates many standard server installations while allowing users to optimize the available rack space. Ventilated top and bottom panels promote passive airflow, helping warm air escape and cool air enter through convection. The panels also support optional user-supplied case fans, including the SRFANWM accessory sold separately.

Security and serviceability are built into the SmartRack design. Locking, reversible front and rear doors provide flexible access orientation, while locking removable side panels help protect installed equipment. Included casters make the enclosure easier to position during deployment, and adjustable leveling feet help stabilize it in its final location. The cabinet ships fully assembled for faster installation and includes mounting hardware, keys, the SRACASTER caster kit, and an owner's manual. The SR12UBSP1 also supports PCI DSS enclosure requirements and complies with RoHS environmental standards.
