Online Double-Conversion UPS for Mission-Critical Equipment
The Eaton Tripp Lite SmartOnline SU1000RTXLCD2UN provides continuous double-conversion power protection for servers, networking equipment, storage systems and other sensitive electronics. By converting incoming AC power to DC and then reconverting it to regulated sine-wave AC, this 1000VA UPS isolates connected equipment from blackouts, brownouts, surges, line noise and other power disturbances. Its rack-mountable 2U design is well suited for education, healthcare, government, military and small or midsize network environments where dependable power protection is essential.

Continuous Battery Backup and Expandable Runtime
Zero transfer time between online and battery operation helps connected equipment remain powered without interruption or rebooting during power events. Field-replaceable, hot-swappable VRLA battery modules support maintenance with minimal downtime and provide time to save files and perform an orderly shutdown during extended outages. Runtime can be expanded by connecting up to four compatible BP36RT extended battery modules, available separately.

Remote Management and Flexible Power Control
The included WEBCARDLXE network management card enables remote configuration, monitoring, load shedding, connected-device reboots and safe shutdowns through an IP-based interface. Auto Probe helps maintain network availability by detecting lost connectivity and automatically rebooting equipment when necessary. Eight NEMA 5-15R outlets provide pure sine-wave output, surge protection and EMI/RFI filtering, while two load banks allow noncritical equipment to be shed to extend runtime for essential loads. RS-232, USB, dry-contact relay and RPO/ROO ports support advanced communications, automation and emergency shutdown functions.

LCD Monitoring for Rack or Tower Installation
The menu-driven front-panel LCD displays alarms, event logs, battery and power-module status, usage information, firmware details and other operating data. The rotatable display accommodates rack-mount or tower placement, and audible battery alarms can be disabled through the front menu.
