The Eaton Tripp Lite SmartRack SR45UBWD is a wide 45U server rack enclosure designed for high-density data center, server room, and network equipment installations. Its extra-wide cabinet design provides additional side space for cable management and power distribution unit mounting, helping keep cables and PDUs away from equipment airflow paths for improved cooling. The enclosure supports standard 19-inch rack equipment and offers a 3,000 lb stationary load capacity or a 2,250 lb rolling load capacity.

Built for efficient thermal management, the SR45UBWD provides extensive front-to-rear ventilation to meet or exceed server manufacturer requirements. The vented top panel supports convection-based heat removal and includes cable-routing ports for simplified installation. The top panel can be removed without tools, while the open bottom provides additional cable access. The enclosure is compatible with hot-aisle/cold-aisle layouts and includes integrated baying tabs for joining multiple cabinets in organized equipment rows.

Equipment security and service access are supported by locking, removable, reversible front and rear doors and locking, removable half-size side panels. The split rear-door design allows the enclosure to be positioned closer to a wall while maintaining access for service. Preinstalled casters assist with minor positioning adjustments, and integrated levelers help secure the cabinet in its final location. All enclosure components are grounded to the frame, with front and rear grounding points and quick-release ground wires on the doors.

The SR45UBWD ships fully assembled and includes mounting hardware, M6 screws, cage nuts, washers, keys, side panel locks, and a stabilizing bracket. It is RoHS compliant and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
