The GPS Speedometer is a drop in replacement for your current speedometer to match your existing instrument dash.

GPS information is gathered from an internal GPS antenna. No external antenna required. The Faria GPS Speedometer uses a highly accurate 48 channel GPS receiver. You can be sure that the Faria GPS Speedometer is giving you the most accurate GPS information available on the market today.

Course Over Ground (COG) and actual heading (compass heading over ground) are displayed on the optional digital LCD.

Speed data is shown by an analog pointer. This pointer is driven by a digital stepper motor for increased accuracy and minimized pointer bounce during vessel operation.

This GPS speedometer is designed as a drop-in replacement for compatible speedometers and does not require an external GPS antenna. An internal 48-channel GPS receiver provides fast satellite acquisition and highly accurate vessel speed information. The analog speed pointer is controlled by a digital stepper motor, helping improve accuracy while minimizing pointer bounce during vessel operation. With a speed range up to 60 MPH and dual imperial and metric scales, the gauge is suitable for a wide variety of marine applications.

Optional digital LCD information includes Course Over Ground and actual heading, providing useful navigation data while underway. GPS operation eliminates dependence on pitot tubes and paddle wheels, which can become clogged, damaged, or inaccurate over time. This makes the Faria GPS Speedometer especially useful for slow-moving vessels where pitot-tube systems may not perform effectively. The gauge uses Deutsch connectors and operates on a 12 VDC negative-ground system, with adaptability for 24 VDC applications.
