The Finisar FTLC1157RGPL is a 100 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for high-density data center networks. It supports links of up to 2 kilometers over single-mode fiber using CWDM4 technology, making it suitable for connecting switches, routers, and other compatible network equipment across data center environments. The transceiver supports an aggregate bit rate of 103.1 Gb/s and complies with the QSFP28 MSA, CWDM4 MSA, and applicable portions of IEEE P802.3bm.

This Finisar QSFP28 module features four 25 Gb/s CWDM optical transmit channels and a four-lane 25G retimed electrical interface. Duplex LC receptacles provide standard fiber connectivity, while adaptive CTLE helps optimize signal performance. A loss budget of 5 dB is supported for links up to 2 kilometers over single-mode fiber when used with KR4 FEC. Digital diagnostics monitoring is available through the I2C management interface, as defined by the QSFP28 MSA and related application notes.

The hot-pluggable form factor allows installation or replacement without interrupting compatible system operation. The FTLC1157RGPL operates from a single 3.3V power supply and has power dissipation below 3.5W, helping support efficient network designs. It is rated for a commercial case temperature range from 32°F to 158°F and is RoHS compliant for use in environmentally responsible deployments.
