The HPE Aruba 9004-LTE Modem/Wireless Router, part number R3V91A, is a compact branch gateway designed for distributed enterprise, branch office, and small campus networks. As part of the Aruba 9000 Series, it combines high-performance routing, SD-WAN, firewall, security, and cellular connectivity in a rack-mountable platform. The gateway supports Aruba’s SD-Branch architecture, helping organizations unify wired networking, wireless networking, SD-WAN, and security management across geographically distributed locations.

Aruba Central provides cloud-based configuration, monitoring, assurance, and security management for simplified deployment and ongoing administration. Onsite installation can be streamlined through Aruba’s mobile installer application, reducing the complexity of bringing branch locations online. The 9004-LTE is designed to support up to 2,048 users or client devices and delivers firewall throughput of up to 6 Gbps, providing substantial capacity for bandwidth-intensive branch environments.

High Performance and Reliability
The HPE Aruba 9004-LTE supports scalable branch networking with integrated LTE connectivity for primary or backup WAN access. Multiple 9000 Series gateways can be clustered at a branch to improve resiliency and high availability.
