Photon uses state-of-the-art video processing technology combined with AI analytics to enhance its ultra-high definition 4K (3840 x 2160) output, producing full color, real-time (25Hz) video in virtually pitch black conditions. Even in moonless skies, with just the faintest starlight, Photons cutting-edge processor analyzes each of its 8.3 million pixels, dynamically boosting and enhancing the output stream.
In addition to the cameras dynamic video processing, an integrated soft white LED illuminator is included to enhance visibility at short range.
Designed to overcome the shortcomings of expensive thermal imaging cameras, Photon is not bound by strict export controls, doesnt struggle in low thermal contrast scenarios, and isnt affected by lead time issues accentuated by geopolitical conflicts.
The cameras staggering ultra high definition output instantly adds value to leading chart-plotters offering 4K support, such as Garmins superb 9000 series range. Even if your display cant offer UHD, Photon can be configured to output video as required.
As the camera is powered via IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), installation couldnt be simpler, requiring a single CAT5 cable, and just 4 drill holes (plus cable entry).

The Iris Innovations Photon Ultra Low-Light 4K Night Vision Camera delivers ultra-high-definition, full-color video in extremely dark conditions. This black camera features a 2.8mm wide-angle lens and produces 3840 x 2160 resolution at 25Hz, using advanced video processing and AI analytics to enhance each of its 8.3 million pixels in real time.
Photon is designed for viewing in starlight and other very low-light environments, with an ultra-low-light sensitivity of 0.0003 lux. An integrated soft white LED illuminator provides additional visibility at short range, with illumination up to 100 feet. The camera is also remote viewable and supports multiple streams for flexible video monitoring.
Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by combining power and data through a single CAT5 cable. The camera can connect with leading chart plotters, including 4K-capable displays, while configurable video output supports displays that do not offer UHD resolution. Its 2.8mm lens is suited to wide-angle applications, while a 12mm lens option is available separately for long-range use.
The Photon camera is IEEE802.3af PoE compatible and conforms to EN60945 EMC, NDAA, and ONVIF requirements. Its IP67 environmental rating supports use in demanding conditions. The camera is also available in other color configurations, including all white and matte black with white and black mix.
