The JBL MBP10 is a marine-grade powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, powerful bass in open-air environments. Its built-in amplifier produces 250 watts RMS and up to 750 watts peak power, providing clear, high-output performance for boats, marine vehicles, and other outdoor audio installations. The 10-inch woofer uses a polypropylene cone and durable butyl rubber surround for reliable bass response and long-term performance.

Built for demanding marine conditions, the JBL MBP10 features an IPX5 marine rating, UV-resistant one-piece polymer construction, a sealed motor structure, a sealed magnet, and stainless steel hardware. Its marinized circuit board and protective design help resist salt water, corrosion, sun exposure, and washdowns. The rubber surround provides dependable edge protection, while the included grille helps protect the woofer from the elements.

Sound adjustment is simple with the built-in 12 dB electronic crossover, which can be adjusted from 50Hz to 120Hz. A variable bass-boost circuit centered at 40Hz allows you to fine-tune the low-end impact for your listening environment. The grille-mounted crossover controls remain accessible after installation, and the compact enclosure with a low-profile heat sink makes the MBP10 suitable for installations where space is limited. JBL tests its marine products against extreme conditions, including UV exposure, salt spray, vibration, temperature changes, and extended full-power operation.
