The JBL Professional Standard Coverage 418C/T is a two-way in-ceiling speaker designed for clear, high-fidelity sound in low- to medium-volume environments. Its coaxially mounted woofer and soft-dome tweeter deliver wide frequency response and low distortion for applications such as business music systems, retail stores, music and paging systems, reception areas, lounges, courtrooms, convention centers, hotels, and educational facilities.

Combined 70 V/100 V transformer operation and low-impedance direct operation support flexible system design. The direct input provides an 8-ohm nominal setting, while the 60-watt multi-tap transformer is suited to distributed audio systems. The speaker is rated at 90 watts with a 360-watt peak rating, and its 92 dB sensitivity supports high maximum sound pressure levels.

A bezel-less white grille blends into room décor and can be painted. Magnetic grille attachment is supplemented by a safety tether. The pre-attached backcan, C-ring, tile rails, and installation hardware support efficient ceiling installation. The package includes two speakers along with locking Euro-block connectors, cable strain relief, grilles, a cutout template, C-ring, tile rails, screws, seal cover, and rubber boots.

The JBL Professional 418C/T provides a 57 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and is tuned to pair well with the Control 419CS/T subwoofer when additional bass is desired. The speaker is RoHS compliant and UL 1480A and UL 2043 listed.
