Joe Hunt 1274 Right-Hand Magneto Assembly Head

This manual advance magneto is prepared and set up to increase performance and reliability for right hand clockwise rotation.

The Joe Hunt 1274 Right-Hand Magneto Assembly Head is designed for use with 1936–1969 Big Twin generator motors. The magneto is driven by the distributor drive gear and has a taller profile than the original distributor, so cylinder and head clearance should be checked before installation.

This assembly is listed for 1936–1945 Harley-Davidson EL applications. Verify the motorcycle and engine application before ordering to help ensure proper fitment.

A mount clamp is required separately for installation. Joe Hunt suggests using Distributor Mount Clamp 32-0135. Additional accessory items include an ignition points and condenser kit, a red magneto top cover, and a V-Fire Morse magneto coil.

The assembly is supplied as one unit and is made in the USA. Review available accessory items and installation requirements before beginning the installation.
