Juniper EX4100-48P-TAA 48-Port PoE+ Ethernet Switch

The Juniper EX4100-48P-TAA Ethernet Switch is a secure, cloud-ready access switch designed for enterprise branch offices, campus networks, and data center deployments. Part of the Juniper EX4100 Series, this standalone 1U switch combines Mist AI and Juniper Mist Wired Assurance with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking capabilities to simplify onboarding, configuration, monitoring, and ongoing management. Its 48 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ access ports support connected devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, surveillance cameras, and IoT equipment.

Built for scalable and resilient network environments, the EX4100-48P-TAA supports up to 30 watts per PoE+ port and provides a substantial overall PoE power budget when configured with two power supplies. Four fixed 1/10GbE SFP+ uplink ports support high-performance network connections, while four 10GbE/25GbE SFP28 ports support Virtual Chassis interconnections or can be configured for Ethernet uplink connectivity. Virtual Chassis technology allows up to 10 EX4100 switches to be interconnected and managed as a single logical device, helping organizations expand capacity without adding unnecessary management complexity.

Advanced features include EVPN-VXLAN support, standards-based microsegmentation with group-based policies, MACsec AES-256 switch-to-switch encryption, flow-based telemetry, anomaly detection, packet-delay measurement, and drop-reason reporting. Precision Timing Protocol transparent clock support helps maintain accurate timing across supported network environments. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies and field-replaceable fans improve availability, while fast PoE capability enables compatible powered devices to receive power within seconds after the switch starts. The Juniper EX4100-48P-TAA is TAA compliant, RoHS 6 compliant, rack-mountable, and includes one JPSU-920-AC-AFO power supply.
