The Lantronix SGPAT1040-305-NA is a stand-alone 10/100/1000Base-T Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) media converter designed to connect copper twisted-pair networks with 1000Base-X fiber optic links. It combines network data received over fiber with 56 VDC input power, delivering both data and power through the RJ-45 copper port to a compatible Powered Device (PD). The converter complies with IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standards and supports up to 30 watts of power to the twisted-pair port.

Designed for flexible network deployment, the SGPAT1040-305-NA supports wall mounting, DIN rail installation, or tabletop placement. An external AC/DC power supply for North American applications is included. The SGPAT series is available with multiple fiber interface options, including fixed SC, fixed LC, and open SFP configurations, helping network integrators select the appropriate connection for their infrastructure.

Advanced management and protection features include PD signature sensing, power monitoring, over-current protection, under-current protection, and input fault protection. Active Link Pass Through (ALPT) detects the loss of receive signals on either the copper or fiber interface and propagates the failure to connected devices. Auto Power Reset restores power to the downstream PD after a link failure is corrected. The converter also supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, and Remote Fault Detection for simplified installation and reliable operation. The Lantronix SGPAT1040-305-NA is TAA compliant, WEEE compliant, and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
