The Lectrotab stainless steel trim tab design provides unmatched strength and reliability. All stainless steel tabs are fabricated with a continuous rolled and pinned hinge. This design eliminates the need for welding.
Combined with a precision-engineered actuator, this kit is built to combine quiet operation with a non-hydraulic, maintenance free design. The unit is corrosion free, ensures very accurate tab positioning, provides maximum lift force, and is totally self-contained for easy installation. The actuator assembly is packaged in a non-metallic permanently sealed housing. No components need to be installed inside the boat.
Most importantly, unlike hydraulic trim tabs, there is no oil to leak out. The actuator incorporates either a standard or low profile transom mounting bracket.
The Automatic Leveling Control (ALC) will automatically adjust your trim tabs to maintain a level boat for a more comfortable and enjoyable ride. Additionally, the ALC automatically corrects the roll from side to side and pitch from fore to aft to enhance your boating experience and improve your fuel economy.

Powered by a precision-engineered, maintenance-free actuator, this kit delivers quiet operation and maximum lift force without hydraulic fluid. The actuator features a sealed, non-metallic housing to prevent corrosion and damage from fouling or barnacles. It also includes an internal pressure equalization system and an internal brake to prevent unwanted movement when the boat is underway or backing down. The actuator is capable of exerting up to 1000 pounds of force, ensuring reliable and accurate positioning of the trim tabs.
The automatic leveling control (ALC) system automatically adjusts the trim tabs to keep your boat level, improving ride comfort and fuel efficiency. It also corrects side-to-side roll and fore-to-aft pitch, providing an enhanced boating experience. The control unit is compact, measuring approximately 3.15 inches wide by 3.07 inches high, and mounts easily with a 2-inch hole. The entire system is self-contained, requiring no components inside the boat, simplifying installation and maintenance. The actuators operate on 12 volts DC, with a stroke length of 2.25 inches, and include 23-foot cables for flexible placement.
Included in the kit are two stainless steel trim tabs, two actuators with cables, the automatic leveling control, and an instruction manual.
