The Middle Atlantic IFTA-6 Fan Tray is a flexible rack cooling solution designed to help direct hot air away from heat-producing equipment. This 1U fan tray mounts directly above rack equipment vents, promoting more effective airflow and supporting temperature management in professional audio/video, networking, telecommunications, and other rack systems. Its adjustable design allows the tray to align with equipment locations and ventilation requirements without occupying more than one rack unit.
The IFTA-6 includes six quiet 4-inch DC fans, each delivering 69 CFM, for a combined rated airflow of up to 414 CFM. The tray provides eight fan mounting positions, allowing the included fans to be positioned where cooling is needed most. Additional compatible fans may be added for a total of up to eight fans. Its adjustable mounting rails accommodate rack widths from 18 to 32 inches, helping support installation in a variety of rack configurations while keeping the cooling system directly over hot equipment.
An energy-saving thermostatic controller automatically switches the fans on or off as needed, helping reduce unnecessary power consumption while maintaining responsive cooling. The system operates from a single power cord and is intended for 220V or 230V applications. The package includes the Middle Atlantic IFTA-6 Fan Tray, six fans, a power supply, and a thermostatic controller. Its black finish, RoHS compliance, and three-year limited warranty make it a practical choice for dependable rack airflow management.
