The motor operates on 12 volts and features a maximum amp draw of 50 amps.

GPS-powered control features include improved Spot-Lock, which provides up to a 50% tighter hold on a fishing spot, along with AutoPilot, Cruise Control, Drift Mode, and Draw and Navigate. Intelligent Depth Control detects depth changes, provides alerts, and automatically engages Spot-Lock and deploys compatible shallow-water anchors. Wireless connectivity supports management of compatible gear across a connected Minn Kota system.

The Riptide PowerDrive 2 is compatible with the Minn Kota One-Boat Network and includes a Micro Remote for wireless operation. A push-to-test battery meter provides an instant charge reading, while Digital Maximizer helps manage power use. The motor also features power steering, a quiet and cool-running lower unit, a durable composite shaft, a deploy-assist lever, and a Power Prop MKP-37. Batteries are required and not included.
