The Minn Kota X12 X Series MFD Control Head combines Humminbird imaging, navigation tools, wireless connectivity, and a high-resolution touchscreen to support an integrated fishing system. This control-head-only model does not include a transducer. It can connect to compatible Minn Kota trolling motors with built-in sonar, accessory transducers including live sonar, or networked Minn Kota and Humminbird fish finders for shared sonar data.

Built-in sonar includes Dual Spectrum CHIRP, MEGA Down Imaging+, and MEGA Side Imaging+. Side Imaging and Down Imaging provide views up to 400 feet below and to either side of the boat, while Dual Spectrum CHIRP delivers 2D sonar with target separation. The 12.1-inch color TFT display provides a 1280-by-800 pixel matrix, 24-bit color, and touchscreen or keypad operation through the Cross Touch interface.

Navigation and boat-control features include Draw and Navigate, Intelligent Depth Control, AutoChart Live mapping, and integration with compatible Minn Kota trolling motors, fish finders, maps, sonar, and shallow water anchors. AutoChart Live includes eight hours of built-in recording time and supports AutoChart Zero Line SD cards. Wireless connectivity, Ethernet networking, built-in NMEA 2000 networking, and Wi-Fi software updates help simplify system expansion and management.

The Minn Kota Fishing App supports boat management, waypoint organization, screenshot capture, and imaging recording. The control head is compatible with Live Sonar and optional Minn Kota Maps Premium. For in-dash installation, an external GPS antenna is required for accurate positioning and navigation. The product includes a two-year limited warranty, extended to three years with registration.
