NavPod GP1040-34 SystemPod is a purpose-built marine electronics enclosure designed to mount a Garmin GPSMAP 1042xsv, 1022xsv, or 1022 chartplotter alongside one additional instrument at the helm. Pre-cut for a 9.5-inch-wide guard, this SystemPod keeps essential navigation controls and displays positioned where they are easy to see and operate while underway.

The GP1040-34 can be dash mounted with the optional SK135 Stanchion Kit or overhead mounted with the optional SK129 Stanchion Kit. Its Gen3 construction uses a thicker-gauge acrylic-capped ABS material for improved structural rigidity and reduced flexing during installation. The acrylic cap helps protect the ABS enclosure from damaging ultraviolet exposure, while the durable construction is designed for demanding offshore boating conditions.

A double-gasket sealing system helps protect installed marine electronics from water intrusion. The thicker external silicone gasket provides a clean, flush fit, while the internal Poron Microcell polyurethane gasket is designed to resist compression set. This helps maintain sealing performance even when the SystemPod is opened later for electronics service. Nickel chrome-plated 316 stainless steel tamper-resistant hardware provides corrosion resistance, secure closure, and a refined finish.

With a usable face sized to accommodate compatible Garmin equipment and a dedicated instrument position, the NavPod GP1040-34 provides an organized helm-mounting solution without listing unnecessary external dimensions.
