The Opengear CM8100 CM8132-10G Console Server delivers secure Smart Out-of-Band management for data centers, enterprise networks, and distributed edge locations. Designed with 32 serial console ports and high-speed 10Gb SFP+ uplinks, this rack-mountable device provides reliable access to critical network infrastructure when primary connections are unavailable. The CM8132-10G supports centralized administration, troubleshooting, and recovery across routers, switches, servers, and other serial-enabled equipment.

Built for modern IT operations, the Opengear CM8132-10G supports REST API integration, Docker-based applications, and Python scripting to simplify automation and improve operational efficiency. Port auto-discovery helps streamline serial configuration and port labeling, while selectable software serial ports can reduce the need for external serial adapters. Opengear Lighthouse® Software enables centralized management at scale across multiple console servers and remote sites.

Security and availability are integral to the CM8100 platform. A hardware-based TPM 2.0 module supports secure boot and enterprise-grade protection, while dual power supplies with independent monitoring help maintain dependable operation. The platform is also designed to support cellular connectivity on select CM8100 models, providing additional options for resilient out-of-band access. Two C14 power cables are included as standard, helping simplify installation in compatible rack environments.
