The Opengear CM8132-10G-C is a rack-mountable CM8100 Series console server designed to keep critical IT infrastructure accessible during network disruptions and remote-site outages. This 32-port device server provides Smart Out-of-Band™ management for serial-connected equipment, while dual 10GbE SFP+ uplinks support direct connections to high-speed networks. Its integrated 5G cellular modem provides an additional management path with improved bandwidth, reduced latency, and enhanced reliability where wired connectivity is unavailable or compromised.

Built for secure, scalable infrastructure management, the CM8132-10G-C includes a hardware-based TPM 2.0 module to support secure boot and protect system integrity. REST API support enables integration with automation platforms, Docker applications, Python scripts, and other operational tools. Containerized applications can run directly on the appliance, helping teams streamline workflows across data centers, enterprise networks, and edge locations. Opengear Lighthouse^® Software provides centralized management and visibility for deployments at scale.

Additional features include port auto-discovery for simplified serial configuration and labeling, selectable software serial ports that can reduce the need for external serial adapters, and dual power supplies with independent monitoring for added resilience. The appliance ships with two C14 power cables and is designed for dependable out-of-band access in demanding enterprise environments.
