The Opengear OM2200 Operations Manager, model OM2224-24E-10G and part number OM2224-24E-10G-L, is a rack-mount infrastructure management appliance designed for data centers and high-density IT environments. It combines Smart OOB™ console server capabilities with automation features to provide secure, reliable access to critical network equipment through a separate management plane.
Managed through Opengear Lighthouse Software, the OM2200 supports centralized administration, automated port discovery, and VLAN functionality. Its mixed-port configuration provides 24 serial connections and 24 Ethernet ports for flexible out-of-band management of servers, switches, routers, and other infrastructure devices. The appliance also supports advanced automation applications for streamlining routine operational and remediation tasks.
Built on an x86 platform, the Opengear OM2224-24E-10G-L supports Docker and Python applications, enabling customized workflows and integrations. An optional global LTE-A Pro cellular module can provide an additional management path when primary network connectivity is unavailable. The unit ships with two C14 power cables and is designed for secure installation in standard rack environments.
