The PAC RP4.2-TY11 includes two sets of vehicle connectors, wired outputs for navigation radio installations, and the firmware needed to support a broad range of compatible vehicles. Its real-time, programmable speaker fade function allows the audio balance to be adjusted for the vehicle’s speaker configuration. An onboard 10-amp accessory output supplies switched 12-volt power for compatible aftermarket equipment, helping streamline wiring during installation.
The interface also supports retention of the factory USB port and backup camera when used with the appropriate additional harnesses, including USB-TY1, USB-TY2, CAM-TY11, and CAM-TY12. Direct USB in-field updating makes it easier to maintain compatibility as firmware improvements become available.
