8/2 AWG Duplex Cable - Flat Cable - Red/Black - 250

Duplex Boat Cable is used in low voltage AC applications as well as DC circuits. Pacer manufactures 8 AWG Duplex boat cable in house in the USA for the best quality. First, the cable is built from finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors. These conductors allow for flexibility and help to prevent corrosion.

The PVC jacket helps 8 AWG Duplex Boat Cable to be flexible while preventing moisture from accumulating. How does it do that During the extrusion process, the spaces between wires are filled. This leaves no space for moisture or air to accumulate. After that, a talcum powder coating is given to the interior wires. This coating is used to allow the outer jacket to be easily removed. Just another reason 8 AWG Duplex boat cable is perfect for marine use.

Pacers marine wire exceeds the requirements and standards of UL, ABYC, and NMMA.

The Pacer 8/2 AWG Duplex Flat Marine Cable is designed for low voltage AC and DC applications, making it ideal for marine and automotive wiring projects. Manufactured in the USA, this cable features finely stranded, Type III tinned copper conductors that provide excellent flexibility and corrosion resistance, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments. The flat design with a durable PVC jacket enhances flexibility and prevents moisture accumulation, thanks to extrusion filling that seals out air and water, which is vital for marine applications. A talcum powder coating on the interior wires allows for easy removal of the outer jacket, facilitating installation and maintenance.

Pacer's marine wire exceeds standards set by UL, ABYC, and NMMA, ensuring safety and durability. The extruded PVC insulation is flexible across a wide temperature range from 20°C to 105°C, supporting various operating conditions. Its construction resists acids, alkali, abrasion, flame, gasoline, oil, and moisture, making it suitable for harsh environments. This duplex cable is rated for 600 volts and features color-coded insulation for easy identification. The 8 AWG size makes it perfect for high-current connections, and the flat cable design simplifies routing in tight spaces. Sold as an individual length, this cable offers a reliable, high-quality solution for marine wiring needs, with compliance to UL Standard 1426, U.S.C.G 33 CFR part 183, and ABYC E-11.14 standards.
