This xPAK does not support USB Power Delivery (PD) or DisplayPort (DP) Alt Mode, so it should be selected for data connectivity rather than laptop charging or video output. The module is user-replaceable on compatible configurations, except models equipped with a discrete graphics processing unit (dGPU).

The Panasonic Connect FZ-VCN554W includes the USB-C + USB-A xPAK and installation screws for a convenient upgrade or replacement. It is compatible with the TOUGHBOOK 55 mk3 and is not compatible with TOUGHBOOK 55 mk1 or mk2 models.
