As part of the Perle IRG7000 series, this rugged, low-power router supports worldwide 5G NR cellular operation with fallback to 4G CAT20 LTE and 3G, helping keep critical applications online where wired connectivity is unavailable, difficult to deploy, or requires a dependable backup.
Designed for flexible deployment, the IRG7440 provides network connectivity through 5G, Ethernet, USB, and serial interfaces. Four 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports support connected devices, while RS232, RS485, alarm relay, and multiple I/O connections enable integration with controllers, sensors, meters, SCADA systems, cameras, kiosks, ATMs, fleet equipment, and other remote assets. Out-of-band management assists with remote troubleshooting, and cloud hosting enables centralized deployment and network management. An intuitive web GUI simplifies configuration, while RESTful API and CLI access support advanced administration and automation.
Enterprise-grade routing capabilities are included without annual subscription or license fees. The IRG7440 supports IPv4 and IPv6, RIP, RIPv2, RIPng, OSPFv1/2/3, BGP-4, VRRP, DHCP, DHCPv6, OpenVPN, IPSec VPN, and IP passthrough. It can route between cellular, Ethernet, USB, and serial interfaces and operate in gateway or bridge mode for adaptable network designs. These capabilities make it suitable for hierarchical networks, mesh deployments, industrial automation, smart grid applications, transportation systems, public safety, video surveillance, and temporary locations.
