Expand your workspace with the Plugable USB-VGA-165 USB 2.0 to VGA graphics adapter. Featuring the DisplayLink DL-165 chipset, this compact adapter adds an external monitor or projector to compatible Windows laptops, desktops, and tablets through a standard VGA or D-Sub connection. Use one adapter per display, with support for up to six additional 1080p VGA monitors on compatible Windows PCs. The adapter connects through USB 2.0, including compatible hubs and repeaters, and requires no external power adapter.
The Plugable USB-VGA-165 supports Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, and 7, along with 32-bit Windows XP. It also supports Intel and Apple M1 Mac computers running macOS 10.14 or later when the appropriate DisplayLink driver is installed. Monitors and PC-compatible televisions with resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 are supported. A 2GHz dual-core processor or better and at least 2GB of RAM are recommended for optimal performance. Drivers may be installed through Windows Update or downloaded directly from Plugable.
Designed for office work, web browsing, email, document management, and other productivity applications, the USB-VGA-165 is not intended for 3D gaming or HD video playback. It does not support HDCP or playback of encrypted Blu-ray discs and other copy-protected content. The adapter requires a compatible Intel, AMD, or NVIDIA main graphics processor and Windows Aero enabled, and it is not compatible with ARM-based Windows systems. DisplayLink adapters should not be mixed with non-DisplayLink USB graphics adapters or drivers. The package includes the Plugable USB-VGA-165 adapter, USB 2.0 cable, CD, and quick-start guide, backed by a 2-year limited parts and labor warranty.
