The Raritan MasterConsole MCD-LED17116 combines a bright 17-inch LED display, integrated keyboard and touchpad, and digital KVM switching in a compact 1U rack console. Designed for data centers, server rooms, laboratories, and IT environments, it provides convenient at-the-rack access to connected servers while reducing the need for separate consoles and switching equipment. The MCD-LED17116 supports widescreen video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and offers a typical 650:1 contrast ratio with 300-nit brightness for clear system management.

Flexible Digital and Analog Video Support

This Raritan MasterConsole model supports VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort video interfaces, allowing administrators to manage both current and legacy servers from one console. Category 5, Category 6, or Category 6e cabling connects compatible computer interface modules, helping simplify installation and support extended server access distances. Stereo audio is supported through compatible VGA combo cables or Raritan HDMI computer interface modules, providing additional flexibility for servers requiring audio connectivity.

Centralized Server Management

The MCD-LED17116 provides single-user access to 8 or 16 servers and can be cascaded for broader installations, supporting control of up to 512 servers. An intuitive on-screen display, front-panel controls, keyboard hot keys, meaningful computer naming, and front-panel status LEDs make setup and server selection straightforward. AutoSkip bypasses inactive channels, while AutoScan previews connected systems at selectable intervals. Password protection helps restrict access to authorized users, and keep-alive technology helps maintain continuous server operation during a power interruption.
