Scotty Power Grip Plus Planer Board Release 40-Pack, Part 1177-BUCKET

Power Grip Plus Planer Board Release - 40 Pack

A line release is the critical link between the downrigger and the fishing rod. If it does not preform properly you will loose both valuable fishing time and fish. The fishing line is gripped between the soft pads with variable release tension attained by moving the line in or out of the jaws. The line release is attached to either the weight or the cable. Patented "tension adjuster" doubles the holding power.

Scotty Power Grip Plus Planer Board Release 40-Pack

The Scotty Power Grip Plus Board Release is designed to provide a dependable connection between a planer board, downrigger system, or fishing line and your rod. This 40-pack gives anglers a convenient supply of releases for repeated use throughout the season. The line is held securely between soft, protective pads, helping maintain consistent contact while minimizing unnecessary damage to fishing line.

Adjustable release tension lets you customize the holding force by positioning the line farther in or out of the jaws. This makes the release suitable for a range of fishing applications and line conditions. The patented tension adjuster increases holding power when needed, helping reduce premature releases while trolling and improving confidence when targeting fish with planer boards or downriggers.

The Scotty Power Grip Plus release can be attached to the weight or cable, depending on your rigging setup. Its straightforward design supports quick installation and efficient lure deployment, making it a practical choice for anglers who need reliable line control on the water. Part 1177-BUCKET identifies this bulk 40-pack configuration for convenient replacement and outfitting multiple setups.
