The SFN8542's flexible software configuration includes APIs for software-defined capabilities, ultra-low latency operation with Solarflare’s Onload kernel bypass technology, and telemetry features for packet capture, monitoring, and analysis. When licensed for ultra-low latency, it delivers industry-leading application-to-application performance, ideal for real-time trading, video streaming, and high-frequency trading environments.
