The StarTech.com CAT6UTP18INBK Category 6 UTP Patch Network Cable provides reliable wired network connectivity for office installations and structured cabling environments. Its black PVC jacket supports color-coded cable runs, while the snagless RJ45 connector design helps protect the connector clips from damage and reduces snagging during installation or removal.

Built with 24 AWG pure bare copper conductors, this Cat 6 patch cable supports Ethernet applications including Power over Ethernet. Molded PVC strain relief helps prevent the RJ45 termination points from bending at sharp angles, reducing stress that can contribute to cable damage and diminished network performance.

The cable features 50-micron gold-plated RJ45 contacts for conductivity and resistance to signal loss caused by oxidation or corrosion. It is specified for stable network performance at speeds up to 10Gbps and supports up to 100W PoE++ under IEEE 802.3bt Type 4. The CM-rated PVC jacket is designed for general installations.
