This StarTech.com network cable uses 34 AWG pure bare copper conductors and Unshielded Foiled Twisted Pair (U/FTP) construction with pair-level aluminum Mylar foil shielding and a drain wire. The design helps reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for consistent signal integrity. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts support accurate mating and low insertion loss, while the flexible thermoplastic elastomer jacket provides durability and easy handling for everyday network installations.

Individually Tested Performance

Each cable is individually tested with a Fluke DSX2-8000 CableAnalyzer to meet ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 requirements for Cat6a performance, including controlled Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Return Loss (RL). The cable is RoHS compliant and backed by a lifetime limited warranty. Please note that this cable is not rated for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.
