Powered by a 40-volt, 5-amp-hour lithium-ion battery and an electric DC brushless motor, this lightweight auger delivers the power and control needed to cut through ice efficiently. Its variable-speed trigger, forward and reverse operation, and 27.3:1 planetary gear system provide smooth performance in a variety of ice-fishing conditions.

The Maven drill unit combines a lightweight aluminum hexagonal shaft with proprietary synthetic resin molded flighting, full-length segmented flighting, and twin serrated stainless steel blades. A Power Point helps keep the auger positioned during drilling, while the magnetic snap-cover blade guard provides convenient blade protection during transport and storage. Ergonomic soft-touch grips and impact-resistant long-filament handles help improve comfort and control during extended use. A built-in LED light and bubble level add useful visibility and drilling guidance on the ice.
