Tow Ready 118138 7-Way Trailer Wiring Mounting Bracket

For Use With 7-Way Flat Pin Connectors; Screw-In; Angled; Powder Coated; Black; Without Dust Cover; Single; With Screws And Nuts

The Tow Ready 118138 Mounting Bracket is designed to provide a practical mounting solution for a 7-way trailer wiring connector. It helps position the connector in a consistent, accessible location near the vehicle’s hitch area, supporting a cleaner installation and more convenient trailer hookup. By securing the connector separately from the vehicle body or hitch assembly, this bracket can help organize the wiring connection and reduce loose, unsupported components during regular towing use.
The bracket is intended for trailer wiring installations that use a 7-way connector. Its compact metal construction is suited to applications where available mounting space is limited, while the straightforward design supports installation with compatible hardware and vehicle-specific mounting points. Because vehicle and hitch configurations vary, confirm connector compatibility, mounting location, and required fasteners before installation. The bracket is supplied as a mounting component; connector, wiring, and installation hardware may need to be selected separately unless included with the corresponding towing system.
Tow Ready is recognized for practical towing accessories and replacement components, and part number 118138 is a focused solution for organizing a 7-way electrical connection. Properly mounting the connector can make routine trailer connection and disconnection easier while helping keep the wiring away from unnecessary movement. For best results, route the harness with adequate clearance from exhaust components, sharp edges, moving parts, and areas where it could be pinched. Verify that the connector is firmly secured and that all lighting, braking, auxiliary, and ground functions operate correctly after installation.
This Tow Ready 7-way mounting bracket is appropriate for replacement installations, new towing setups, and applications where an existing connector needs a more secure mounting position. Always follow the connector manufacturer’s instructions and use safe installation practices. Confirm the bracket’s fit with the intended vehicle, hitch, and 7-way connector before purchase to ensure it meets the needs of the towing application.
