The Tripp Lite B126-004 4-Port HDMI over Cat5/Cat6 Extender/Splitter distributes one HDMI audio/video source to five displays: one local monitor and up to four remote monitors when paired with compatible Tripp Lite B126-Series receivers. It is designed for digital signage, classrooms, trade shows, retail environments, presentations and other installations where displays must be located beyond the practical range of standard HDMI cables.

The B126-004 supports HDMI video sources and provides clear video along with stereo, multi-channel and 7.1-channel PCM surround sound. With active B126-1A0 or B126-1A0-WP-1 receivers, it can transmit 1080i video at 60 Hz up to 200 feet, 1080p video at 60 Hz up to 150 feet and 3D video up to 125 feet. With passive B126-1P0 or B126-1P0-WP-1 receivers, it supports 1080i video at 60 Hz up to 100 feet and 1080p video at 60 Hz up to 50 feet. For larger installations, up to three B126-004 units can be daisy-chained to distribute one source to as many as 13 monitors, including one local and 12 remote displays.

Installation is simple with plug-and-play operation and no software or drivers required. HDMI cable connects the source and local display, while Cat5e or Cat6 cable carries the signal to remote receivers. For optimal performance, use 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e or Cat6 cable. The black, rack-mountable extender includes mounting hardware, an external power supply, an HDMI daisy-chain cable with latching connectors and an owner manual. Its durable design and included hardware allow wall, rack or pole mounting for flexible system integration.
