The Tripp Lite by Eaton B042-008 NetController 8-Port KVM Switch provides centralized access to up to eight directly connected computers through a single VGA monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Designed for professional server rooms and equipment racks, this 1U rackmount KVM switch supports both USB and PS/2 keyboards and mice, helping simplify management across systems with different interface requirements. P780-Series USB/PS2 combo KVM cable kits allow compatible computers to connect without separate adapters or dedicated cable types.

Switch between connected computers using the on-screen display, front-panel pushbuttons, or keyboard hotkey commands. The B042-008 supports video resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 and includes practical administrative functions such as password protection, auto-scanning, auto-logout, and firmware upgrade capability.
